Project Description

During the course of a year, we have helped several enterprise companies in medical, tech, beauty and consumer products industries by conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects of their intranet with a sample representation of their global employees. Hundreds of employees across the globe have participated in our research and provided valuable feedback on key sections of the internal systems. The UX research strategy started with a heuristic evaluation followed by employee surveys, quantitative navigation studies and qualitative task-based interviews by role and responsibilities.

The outcome of these UX research project was creation of new and intuitive information architecture and hierarchy of the intranet as well as recommendations for page-level content and functionality improvements for different roles across the company.


Key Insights

The studies uncovered findings around what users strive for specific to clear and concise experience for daily tasks, comprehensive yet useful search results, ease of access to frequently used systems and functions, clear communications to increase awareness of all company offers, and last but not least personalized content by role.
